Our Visit to ELK Country!
We went to Elk Country - where people come from all over at this time of year to view these beautiful animals! The last picture was taken from one of many viewing areas prior to their feeding time. Around 5:00 pm the Elk come into view & the fields are full of them.
My digital camera is not working - so, I've been using another & did not get as many still pictures as I would have liked.
Posted a couple of videos on my YouTube Channel - if you would like to see them. The footage is pretty raw - the camera used is different & am not accustomed to it! :)
Such a FUN Day & Adventure!

Made it to the Big Lake! #Walleye #Fishing #Boating
Well, I finally went to the Big Lake!
Our Day started out by being on the road at 3:30 am! This is not good for me ( or anyone that has to be subjected to my unpleasant morning self ). lol! Anyway, after a 2 hour trip to arrive to our destination, in time to get a parking spot- we were on our way.
Now, I did wear a lifejacket - do not care if I did not look "COOL"! It's the smart thing to do. We were 3-4 miles out in the lake(per GPS). The waters were a little choppy starting out, which made me a little nervous - but, things were fine the rest of the way. There are enough fisherman out there, that if something happened- one would have help.
We did max out for the day quite early - 6 per person per day. So, it was a quite NICE day!
The only thing different that to do next trip - make sure to bring some motion sickness (Dramamine) stuff. There was one point that I experienced some travel sickness - this was after we put our canopy up, but I was driving the boat (1 mile an hour) & hanging over the boat to get fresh air - so I was a little preoccupied & recovered. Usually like standing up while driving the boat.
Going back to shore was a little choppy as we got closer to land, too.
Sharing some pictures of our Lovely Day!
Remember: Always check the tide current & weather for the day when you go to these big lakes! Use caution & common sense!

DIY Fun Easy Pebble Art Plaque
Inspired by a fellow crafter.
All you need is an old board: rocks/pebbles; twine; and some E6000. I made a bit of a mess with the glue, though! :) That's ok-it's for outside. You could prop it or drill a hole & hang it from a tree (or whatever you like!
As always- use proper precaution with the glue & adult supervison if needed!
Have a Blessed Day!
